i tried to reach out to a volunteer rescuer but it was too late in the evening by then so i did everything i could to make its last hours comfortable.

i spent yesterday's afternoon trying to nurse this baby house martin that fell out of its nest before we could get a ladder and try to put it back. when i took a closer look i realized it was too small compared to its siblings (most likely the reason it was pushed).
