I don’t see where they really him smeared him here and Mamdani specifically asked to be held accountable to his promises. This is a good thing. There’s plenty of trash he inherited from Adams that will take a while to resolve but aggressive policing for bicyclists over cars can be eased right now.

It’s effectively @mayor.nyc.gov ‘s crackdown now. He promised to end this policy and a month in, still nothing. It was created to shift the blame onto bicyclists for insufficient transportation infrastructure. Treating traffic violations for bikes more harshly than cars is ridiculous.

I doubt they have the numbers to abolish anything yet but I think exposing ICE agents helps us get there. After that journalist applied for ICE and got the job w/o submitting a domestic violence affidavit or drug test, it’s gonna be a sh*tshow once they’re out. Expect most to just quit first.

I don’t disagree but I’m commenting in terms of what can actually happen and have an immediate impact at the moment.

I’m firmly on the Abolish ICE side but as far as we can tell from the clip, this guy never left his car and was just running his mouth. Regular cops do that too. No masks + ID requirement is still an effective demand and I will lose my sh*t if they budge on that.

Idk if you’re joking but in case you didn’t know, tickets are free!

I’ve found great relief in ignoring all things UB and muting “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”, “TMNT”, “TMT”, and “TMTxMTG” on Bluesky. Probably not viable for content creators but highly recommend to anyone else feeling it.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now

The article is about a perceived lack of representation in his admin and not about whether specific individuals should be there. They disingenuously didn’t include who the new school chancellor was because they just wanted to say that Mamdani replaced a Latino school chancellor.
January 21, 2026 at 7:55 PM
Quote from the article: “Black leaders aren’t the only ones expressing concern. Many Latino leaders were upset by Mr. Mamdani’s decision to not keep Melissa Aviles-Ramos as schools chancellor.”

This is the article I’m referring to: www.nytimes.com/2026/01/15/n...
None of Mamdani’s Deputy Mayors Are Black. It Has Become a Problem.

The NY Times lately is trying to attack him from the POV of abandoning leftists but they’re hilariously bad at it. They recently said Mamdani replacing the Latino school’s chancellor is evidence of poor diversity in his admin but omitted that the new school’s chancellor is black. I wish I was joking

Lmao the guy can’t even stand up to Ben Shapiro.

I doubt it at this point: the majority of rares and mythics in the set have already been spoiled as a result and probably all of them by the end of pre-release weekend.
