We can have a democracy or we can have a “tyranny of the minority”.
And a leader allowing a tyranny of the minority (the UCP base) without the rule of law (the UCP government) is dictatorship.
And that’s what we have in Alberta- a dictatorship operating outside of the rule of law.

Preston Manning invented the Reform Party concept. It was used by Ross Perot (unsuccessfully) and then by Newt Gingrich and the Tea Party to brand a top down Fascist movement as grassroots. The Alberta far right has a lot to answer for. There were literal NAZIs there when I lived there.
