For the Ayrshire Scale Model group build we had to focus on the German Norway Campaign from April 1940 onwards. This diorama depicts the ramming of the Admiral Hipper by HMS Glowworm on 8th April.
The captain of the Glowworm was awarded a posthumous VC for his actions. #WW2 #RoyalNavy #Kreigsmarine

Day 7 of the West Highland Way from Kingshouse to Kinlochleven via The Devils Staircase. Joined Lindsay on the walk up the hill and then back to the car to meet her in Kinlochleven. 15km today.

Day 5 of the West Highland Way and Lindsay was joined by 2 of her friends to walk this days route, Tyndrum to Inveroran. In lovely sunshine it was a great walk. 14km.

Day 4 of the West Highland Way. Inverarnan to Tyndrum. Lindsay set off with waterproofs on but thankfully took them off and didn't need them at all today. A much easier day than yesterday but still 19km. 7 hours later I met her at the destination. #WHW
