Solo is a better movie than people give it credit for but it annoys a lot of people because it insists on really pointless fan service Easter eggs

Yeah I think if you’re a GOP rep looking at a high risk of losing in 2026 you might be highly motivated to stick it to Trump and Johnson by bailing out early, the House is basically nonfunctional now anyway so why stick around

Yeah I am skeptical. But timing of the special elections is not instantaneous and it depends on the state to schedule them, not the district. If enough of them left in a short enough period of time then the Dems could have a temporary majority and name their own speaker
