Indie music, education, popular and unpopular culture, Some other random stuff.
And some of those like Dyson were the greatest Brexit cheerleaders.
Immigration falling alongside declining birth rate and increasing emigration.
Wonder how his plans to cut taxes and raise productivity are shaping up?

Increasing income tax, and
especially raising income tax just before a GE is not generally considered an GE winning policy.
Think this to be very much plan Z.

And as a former teacher I can attest he’s uniquely despised amongst the last generation of educators…

A duplicitous character;
A modern day Iago.
Campaign manager for Johnson who stabbed him in the front at the last minute as ‘too flawed to be a PM’
Then the backtracking to support Johnson’s awful administration through the worst of times.
A truly appalling man.

High risk without an obvious unifying switch candidate and ‘how it looks’ (chaotic and ‘like the last lot’)
But then the risk of not switching looks greater..

Phillipson looked recently to be a plausible bet; had the backing of two large unions in deputy campaign. But also looks so continuity Starmer can’t see her winning v, say Miliband or Rayner..
November 23, 2025 at 10:55 AM
Yeah depends on so many factors. The timing and process clearly being most significant
If there’s a post May challenger suspect it would be likely one of Miliband/Streeting/ Rayner.
Can see Starmer resigning rather than go through contest.
Then alternative vote comes into play with new election.

No hugging no learning. It’s the antithesis of Friends.
Larry David would have killed off a main character.

I think Seinfeld holds the Emmy for ‘properly innovative popular comedy sitcom’ of that era.
And it was sex pistols influential.

It’s just about the only crumb of comfort for Labour MP’s currently!

The unbearable cruelty of getting older..
As someone pointed out earlier; OK computer closer in time to Dark side of the moon than to now..
