Yeah that's the thing isn't it. He's almost guaranteed to score goals at championship level, so you'd imagine one of the promotion contenders might take him.

Maybe if he'd gone in the summer. But I'm not sure now. Hasn't really had a chance this season but will be viewed as a premier league failure. I think £10m would be good for a championship move.

Yeah. I'd imagine the latter and we'd probably look for an obligation to buy. Or you'd hope so.

Was so weird when people were trying to scapegoat him a few weeks ago. Will always miss some chances but if he keeps us up, we'll struggle to keep him.

I'm sure I read on Facebook the other week that DCL is a donkey who's finished and couldn't lace Bamford's boots. Maybe they meant a different DCL.

It shows how important Tanaka is, not just in terms of getting the ball forward, but also the positions he takes up compared to Gruev/Longstaff etc. And that's a back 5 vs Liverpool, not a 3.

I'm not sure it was just Nmecha's absence (although we did miss him). The front two looked isolated in the first half and we didn't even try to press them for the most part.
