Voting is both a right and a responsibility. The American Declaration of the Rights and Duties of Man, the foundational document on human rights in the Americas, recognizes it as a duty. Of course it is *also* a right that should not be restricted through poll tests or other means.

We have the technology to make speeding impossible. We just don't because whatever politician does it will get burned at the stake by our car-crazed populace. They demand the right to make a blood sacrifice of 1 in every 100 Americans to get to Target 2 minutes faster.

According to the study the problematic readers couldn't understand enough of it to even get through the novel .

I do not think most people have any clue that without the Haber process or other elements of modern agriculture and the entire industrial apparatus that supports them, from the washers in the fixation plants to the ships that move grain, literally billions would starve.

It's why the British elite converged on transphobia. A few people cared a lot and the rest went along! Similar thing among these losers.

I'm shocked, shocked! That the group chats included transphobia.

Oh that's a good one! JWST was a collaboration and the US really stands out in medical research more than astronomy but like...it's a meme.

I am so proud of our science.

What about two years in a row of Nobel Prize in Medicine being all Americans? Or that every scientific category had at least one American winner last year?

Imagining something like this except on international TV.

I don't know why different sources are giving me such different estimates. Some do say the US is lower. Others say it's higher but are less reliable. (Eg worldpopulationreview.com/country-rank...)

Thinking of the what is written on the East Facade of the Supreme Court Building:

Justice, the Guardian of Liberty

Five Justices on the Supreme Court have lost sight of that.

See the attached graphic for MD-PhDs. But of course, all doctors are financially stable. Maybe we just need to make "public" jobs sufficiently well-compensated, even if we can't beat McKinsey.

The ACLU requested return of the people who were on the two planes in the air when Judge Boasberg issued his order. It's not clear to me if there's anyone not covered by that or if the request will be granted.
