I cling to an ancient pair of Sennheiser HD 590s from 2000 for this reason. I don't even care that Sennheiser makes better sounding headphones now, they are the most comfortable headphones ever made and I will be so sad when they die.

I hate to sound like this, but the primary societal benefit is not so much to cover the cost of your repairs, it's to cover the medical bills of any poor person you might run down.

nice to find out that all our institutions will instantly capitulate to fascism but it won't take because the fascists are incredibly dumb.

In the TV show you get to see her... mostly be a backup as that's more practical when they are trying to train the labor's OS long term, lol.

You can put the Nintendo Seal of Quality on anything now, they can't stop you.

I think you need to have some sort of reverse-redlining policy or "Up to the Cities Movement" to reintegrate these people into society, lol

all I want is for the person who made the post to be able to specify how it should be displayed!

Looking forward to it!

I'm so sorry.

No (incredibly dumb), but sometimes I switch to this feed that just shows posts sans reposts bsky.app/profile/did:...

Headline reads: "San Francisco not deemed major city: keeps bridge"

Which is great, but it's just one person developing that and it as of yet doesn't have the things you'd want (as much as they very much want it to be a drop-in replacement one day).

I love making a database site with no talk pages or wiki features so everything is decided via the arbitrary discretion of mods that I think they select just on the basis of you doing a lot of edits?
December 28, 2025 at 9:16 PM
a system that lets the poster tag whatever they are posting would be very useful, the second that's determined by "faceless prudes I can't even yell at" it's useless. Like why should they even have anyone (automated or no) sorting though thumbnails of articles? (Republican legislatures aside)

If LB is ever going to do TV they will have to roll their own database and I hope TMDB rots

the only thing polling reliably tells us is that the majority of Americans want price controls on every consumer good with a Stalinist-level of granularity and many of them think those already exist, they're just being used wrong.

That will remain Firefox but with a thing that will "summarize" links for some reason? They added an option to use a chatbot of your choice awhile back but its menu comes with a prominent button to turn it off forever. all to impress a board that wants to be "with it" without knowing what that is
