Toronto wow and flutter
I have, through this snow event, obsessively kept the cleanest, widest & driest sidewalk in the neighbourhood.

Today I was clearing ice from the gutter, tossing chunks onto the clear asphalt to melt. Some passerby chastised me: "That's illegal, you know..."

Would it qualify as murder?

Oh my
honestly I just don’t think you need much more than this to experience True Joy

My brother sends this Peugeot 104 from Nice. Fantastic colour. Big glass.

Brother in Nice sent through this street-parked new Cinq. My take? While this car is beautiful (even the wheel covers), that tiny rear window is ass.

As I walk through the neighbourhood, I am judging every resident based on whether or not they have shovelled the sidewalk out front.

If you have done it, you are a mensch. You are pulling your weight.

If you haven't bothered, you are not my kind of people.

If Alberta tries to leave Canada, can we at least keep Jairus Sharif?

“I’m enthusiastic about so-called distortion, noise, blur, etc. and began to find energy in the exploration of signal-to-noise ratios and what true clarity of signal means to me.”

A veteran tradesman once told me that the choice of / state of truck someone brings to the job site generally tells you everything you need to know about the person.

THIS guy probably pays attention to the details.

every time i see a white guy in their fifties radicalized by the twitter algorithm into racism and extremism i think about how it's a total failure of the youtube algorithm to instead radicalize him into home brewing, elaborate A/V setups, or DIY solar

A feast for the eyes, if you like the point where midcentury modern starts tipping into brutalism, and battered Renaults (I see you too, Corolla) with taxi paint schemes.

Found my car. Digging that out looks like a tomorrow problem.

The rattier the RCAF's CF18s get, the more they remind me of Murilee Martin's 1965 Impala Hell Project

Taken 9 years ago today. While we're generally huge fans of #beltlinestripes, this just isn't doing it for us. Starts nice & high on the front fender but finishes too low on the rear. Tricky. 5/10

Watching a 1980 CBC news item on Ladas in Nova Scotia. What is that in back? An ARO?
