It was a privilege to be asked to participate. And I believe it helped Tim’s friends and fans who are grieving to get together and talk and listen. A sorrow shared is a sorrow halved. I’m so grateful to Woody for making it happen.

I hope it dies and is remembered as a mistake, a dumb thing we did but shouldn’t have.

No feature films have been made of Canadians in the Second World War. We had a million volunteers in uniform, but we don’t have a “Saving Private Ryan” or “Band of Brothers” to get people interested in the subject. It’s tragic.
