Good lord, I haven’t read fantasy with descriptions this vivid since Game of Thrones. Empire of the Vampire has been incredible.

I picked up 100 Deadly Skills at a used bookstore today. Half the tips are practical, the other half are “I’m never doing that,” but it’s a fun, random read. The disaster-survival chapter is actually good to know.

I’ve got some animated footage that looks a little too waxy. Is there a good way to add video noise? I’m using Premiere, but every noise overlay I try looks off. I’d also like something I can use on live-action footage.

I feel like gravity must’ve been stronger when I was 4. I don’t remember anyone telling stories about me watching TV like this.

I'm a few episodes into the Twelve Monkeys TV show, and between Manhunter and Robocop 2, Tom Noonan is one of the few actors I’d be genuinely uneasy to meet. He’s probably the nicest guy in real life, too.

Including the Æon Flux “fan cuts” on the DVD was such a cool thing to do. When MTV originally aired Æon Flux, several episodes were edited, aired out of order, truncated, or never re-aired. Some fans gathered all this and made extended version of a couple episodes.
