NoPlex is the first and only app that encourages users to stop striving for "productivity" and instead employs a much more sustainable approach to managing day-to-day tasks and routines, which we call "chaos management". 🔗 https://noplex.app.link/bsky-all
Why people leave productivity apps after 3 days:

- Too complicated.
- Makes them feel bad.
- Doesn't match how their brain actually works.

We built NoPlex around a different idea:
Your brain works in chaos.
So should your system.

ADHD time management is wild.

2 minutes, 2 hours, 2 weeks… all feel like the same time zone.

Struggling to start tasks with ADHD isn’t a personality flaw.

The ‘go’ signal in your brain is literally weaker.

External reminders, body doubling, and micro-steps are not ‘cheats’ – they’re accessibility tools.

ADHD + perfectionism is a brutal combo.

you know the feeling: waiting for the 'perfect' moment to start = never starting.

the task lives rent-free in your head.
anxiety increases.
shame increases.
actual task completion: 0%.

break this cycle. good > perfect.

Let’s be honest—modern work and life expect us to be ‘always on,’ but most of us feel like our attention is pulled in a dozen directions at once. CIAD explains why.

Chaos View does one thing: Puts your actual priorities on your lock screen.

Not your app. Not your calendar. Just the 3 things that matter today. No distractions.

We learned this from people with ADHD who actually use apps (not abandon them).

Executive function — planning, organizing, starting tasks — uses different neural pathways in ADHD brains.

Dopamine dysregulation makes boring tasks feel impossible while hyperfocus happens on random hobbies.

Again: This isn't laziness. It's neurology. Treat it like one.

Every time you switch tasks, your ADHD brain has to reset context.

This isn’t just ‘lost time.’ it’s real cognitive effort.

Here are 5 ways to work with your dopamine system when you have ADHD:
January 27, 2026 at 4:21 PM
(not so) fun fact: ADHD brains have lower baseline dopamine. you're not seeking novelty to be difficult.

you're seeking novelty because it literally stimulates your brain.

this is why urgent > important, always. knowing this changes everything.
January 24, 2026 at 2:30 PM
Your ADHD brain vs. productivity culture:

ADHD brain: Novelty-seeking, dopamine-responsive, time-blind, intensity-based

Productivity culture: Linear, consistent, clock-bound, volume-based

Mismatch ≠ Failure. You're not broken. Your system is. #ADHDFacts

You sit down, fully intending to start that one task you’ve been putting off. Twenty minutes later, you suddenly realize you’ve scrolled through three social apps, stared out the window, and mentally planned dinner—but not touched the task.

Many don’t realize that sensory challenges contribute heavily to anxiety and burnout for people with ADHD.

Simple adjustments such as lowering volume, seeking quieter settings, or using comforting routines can help you reclaim control over overstimulation.

Time blindness isn't ""bad time management""

It's a neurological difference in how ADHD brains perceive time passing.

You can be brilliant with deadlines and still lose 6 hours in '5 minutes.' both are real.

This is why 'get started sooner' doesn't work for everyone.
