Having not played TW1 yet, how much of this carried over into the standalone experience? The system of Casual, Aggressive and Alternative basic attacks and strikes me as very unique from NWNs core combat (it has been 15 years + since I played NWN to be fair so maybe misremembering)

If you think trackpads can't replace sticks, I agree with you wholeheartedly. I disagree with the idea that it's just them holding on to an outdated idea to incorporate them alongside sticks. They wouldn't be producing hardware with them if they didn't have metrics proving their worth and use imo.
