A post in a FB group I'm in led me to creating these. 🤣 You're welcome!

I've added basic alt text, but copying and pasting the text from the grid on canva on my phone is more work than I have spoons for at the moment. I'll try to come back and add full alt text later.

Trans Voice Training as a Neurodivergent Person: ADHD edition.

Speaking really fast because you need to say what you're thinking before you forget it can mean your brain doesn't have time to also process & implement the changes you want to make to how your voice sounds.

Tips: reduce other sensory input before you start. Eg: turn off the lights, put on your most comfy clothes. 💡👕

Have things close by that you know will help if you start experiencing sensory overload, like a weighted blanket, noise cancelling headphones, earplugs etc.🎧🧸

Trans Voice Training as a Neurodivergent Person: Sensory edition. 🧠

Exploring outside of your habitual voice pitch and volume ranges
can mean...unexpected extra sensory input from how the voice vibrates within your body. 😵‍💫💓

I have SO MUCH to say on this topic, but I'll just start with this:

Instead of calling it a voice break, call it a gear change. If you perceive a part of your voice as a negative, you will find it infinitely harder to explore and learn to make your voice do what you want it to.
