I think I could get behind electric cars if they weren't also computerized cars, like there's no need for those to be the same thing, I want everything that isn't turning the wheels to be knobs and cranks and switches

I think some of the time this is true but it also speaks to a real paucity of language for how society functions when it's mediated by the internet. social media really does reiterate a lot of high school dynamics, we need some kind of way to acknowledge and deal with that
