I’m not an interview expert, but what worked for me before is that before the interview I think about what would be relevant for this particular job. System knowledge? I think about ask the instances when I did something relevant and think about how to talk about it. Game AI - same. Etc

That’s a bit less than I expected. I’ve seen fuel price fluctuating by this percentage in a market conditions of Norway, Latvia and Canada.

With that said our previous game jam entry (apoly.itch.io/derelict) will probably be rewritten to eecs + edat, so I can test some of the edge cases before jam starts.

We're going to participate of course and that will be a good test case for eecs (github.com/AlexanderPol...) in real game jam scenario.
I've also finished building an early proof of concept for edat (strongly typed file format with custom parsers), so hopefully I'll open source it soon and use it.

There are at least a couple of limiting factors right now. Number of green cards issued per year has a limit, processing of applications is limited by immigration officers too. So this workforce need to grow and limit needs to be increased at least. But how to motivate companies to sponsor GCs?

You mean green cards? Most companies don’t like them as they cost more and are less restrictive I think. And it takes a lot of time to get one right now.
