It's been a very hard and long journey to finally get to somewhere where I can do something I love, even if I can only manage a few days a week. Disability and illness have threatened to destroy my life so many times, but I'm still here.

- Finally moved out of a flat and started up taxidermy again slowly from 2020.
- Officially started new taxidermy business and etsy shop this year.

I ended up working with animals, just not really how I originally thought!

Listen to your gut and don't give into peer pressure, friends.

- Started my first taxidermy business around 2011, closed it after 2 years bc I was constantly struggling with my mental health.
- Stopped working for 10 years due to health issues, studied various things online
- Tried to get back into doing furry art commissions, but my heart wasn't in it.

- Since uni I'd been taking furry art commissions
- Started getting into what is now known as Vulture Culture more seriously around 2004
- Started my first Etsy shop in 2009, selling jewellery made from animal teeth/claws + tarot readings
- Taught myself taxidermy through old books and videos

- A year after, did HND in Animal Studies, LOVED IT.
- Wanted to pursue a degree in Zoology but couldn't afford it.
- Went to work experience in a vets but only lasted 2 days because of fibromyalgia pain/exhaustion.
- Gave up on my dreams for a couple of years and worked in retail.
