Yeah it was super easy. Just studied the practice test a bunch, aced it, they gave me the general test right away, lol. Did not pass. Never had any equipment. Primarily got it for rocket tracking at the time.

Do you have an amateur radio license? I got my technician in '08 for rocket stuff, never used it and let it lapse. I was just watching a video saying you can run at higher power if you're licensed.
