As a full time painter I really don't abide by holiday breaks, but I do break out the personal stuff to mess around with, like this tamiya triceratops display I'm working on. I'm recording the basing though as it may interest some people #dinosaurs

Burrows and Badgers miniatures from Oathsworn minis. Loads of fun to paint, they don't have that nagging feeling you should be doing it a 'certain way' like gw minis do.

Finally got a photo set up that gives half decent results. Just in time to capture the result of a 2 ish hour exercise in getting a strong look without spending hours on refinement and detail, those I can always add later. #warhammer #skeleton #deathrattle

An actual recent (as in a day or so ago, not the usual 'several months ago because I forgot') finished commission of a Deathwatch Killteam, came out pretty well!

Chaos space marine Master of Possession I finished not that long ago. I never seem to link possession with him taking over other people, so the head canon for him is just a dude that collects stuff, like fire and skulls #warhammer40k #chaos #spacemarine

In case it wasn't clear what kind of hobby gremlin I am, I'm,amongst other things, trying to learn 3d modelling at the moment. So far I'm quite far along with a bug mech kind of thing, and started a sci-fi vehicle last night as a little project I can tinker with when I run into problems on the bug.

In case it wasn't clear what kind of hobby gremlin I am, I'm,amongst other things, trying to learn 3d modelling at the moment. So far I'm quite far along with a bug mech kind of thing, and started a sci-fi vehicle last night as a little project I can tinker with when I run into problems on the bug.
Yet again trying to catch up with posting on bluesky, and there's a fair bit to post. Illuminor Szeras was one I really enjoyed! Especially playing around with the green power blade. #necron #nmm #miniaturepainting

Here's some Horus Heresy goodness for a Tuesday afternoon, some Veltaris Storm Section I painted up for Siege Studios a couple of months ago. The scheme is to tie-in a solar auxilia force with a blood angels army, and quite honestly they look good in red. #horusheresy #warhammer30k #warhammer

Another part of catching up with the backlog, an Aeldari war walker that was done a few weeks ago. Base was made with some old air dry clay that I'd rolled out flat and kept, ready to break sections off for situations like this.

Built up a bit of a backlog of stuff I've been working on, but we'll start with old school Eldrad Ulthran. Mixed the scheme with bits I liked from both the original model and the newer version, which seemed to work quite well! #warhammer #aeldari #eldar #40k

I set up a better photo area on a bookshelf near the painting desk a couple of days ago, and whilst I've never been the best photographer and dislike taking photos with a fairly intense passion, the results so far aren't too bad, although the light from the top needs to be brighter I think.
