This bit by Brennan reminded me of a comment he made to Tyranny as she was on horseback in the rain, something like "surely doing the right thing is to be rewarded, or else people would lie and cheat and steal" Idk, I just found the two thoughts similar.

I had a school nightmare last night, despite being out of school for MANY years. I was in a video directing class and had to film something and upload it but instead I just took clips from Wicked(?) and added a voiceover and the teacher wanted to see me after class. Wtf, brain!

I went to the AGO today and took a million photos and can't wait to go back. Saw two temporary exhibits and some of the permanent collection, breathtaking stuff!

One thing I miss from my old locked twitter is if I had a bad day I could say so, and ask to see my mutuals pets or something that makes them happy. So few have migrated to bluesky (so far).

Bash with Cinder House by @freyamarske.bsky.social (from the library). Five stars, I wanted to read it slow, to really absorb the prose, but it was so compelling I couldn't help finishing it fast. Highly recommend this novella!
