I assumed that was sketchy lead gen where they’d store your email before telling you, but they don’t send it back and they return all the info in the first api request (+a bunch of stuff like how many comped tickets they’re giving out they probably don’t mean to return to the client)

I’ve rebuilt a standup comedy club lineup scraper for nyc like 5 times primarily because the comedy cellar has an insane flow where you pay at the door but have to reserve online through a multi step wizard that doesn’t tell you if it’s sold out until the last step.

Ooh that sounds interesting, I built one when I was house shopping in nyc with a chrome extension companion to overlay on street easy listings what the taxes would be (est) once the tax abatement expired b/c their were so many places that were like taxes are $$33/mo until next year

So it’s dumb as hell but this is what I’ve been told by a juul/ vice investor
- post juul ban flavored vapes are all gray / black market with tons of fakes often w/more harmful chemicals
- only one company (geekbar) can make oled vape screens, so it basically acts as an anti counterfeiting thing
