Did Pat Shurmur get fired yet? Realistically, probably Scot Loeffler but maybe Brian Daboll?

Andy Reid

I'm not worried about it. I follow an NBC Sports fantasy writer who has assured me that Caleb Williams is the worst QB in football history so Friday should be fine either way.

History something something something rhymes.

He'd have so many friends who also never sleep.

It is the most logical spot for him.

I assume he'd be subject to the same rules for any coach under contract interviewing for another position so you're doing it after the season either way.

Obviously that works for me but in a league where stupid and desperate franchises sign Chip Kelly to a top-of-the-market deal, maybe someone trades for him quickly.

If you fire him, you're almost certainly promoting Scot Loeffler.

Last year I said I thought Sirianni should be fired unless the team won the Super Bowl and I genuinely regret adding that caveat.

To be clear, I agree with this too. That's why you try to patch over the play caller issue now and then fire Sirianni in the offseason no matter how the season turns out:

Kevin Patullo is an easy target, IMO. He isn’t bringing anything to the offense, but…

- Ultimately, it’s Nick’s offense.
- Nick is directing big-picture in-game strategy (ie. give-up plays, etc.)
- Nick hired him.

That’s where frustration should be directed.

More time for them to complain about the QB not executing their vision.

Going to cost themselves a second Super Bowl because he's not smart enough to understand that scoring points is good.
