Liberal. BS in business. Masters in Computer Science. Like ZEN, non fiction. Obama.
Broad generalization by sex is no different than generalization by race, origin, state, occupation, etc. It’s all meaningless bullshit.

One reason republicans continue to win elections is liberals and progressive lump half the voters into one bucket (instead of trying to understand the why).

Probably on over supply of electoral politics right now.

A good read is timeless. Tell the story, it’s there for a reason.

Cheers

What used to republican “fiscally conservative but socially liberal” has flipped to “whatever is selling today”.

Randomness messes with the mind big time. And the closer you look the larger the effect.

That’s why astronomers (who spend their lives looking at things billions of years away
) appear so sane.

Meanwhile, book readers are stuck on details such as a character who says “you” instead if “us”.

Prove to us that Trump isn’t Canadian.
December 3, 2025 at 3:47 PM
Use their standard of “sounds true”
December 3, 2025 at 3:45 PM
If only there had been warning signs!!

Maybe some clues that Trump was deranged? And a way to stop him, like a free machine where I could walk in and press a button?

Media is SO lame.

Oh, wow! Who knew state elections could have such a negative impact on quality of life?

If only people had said something …. gotta go, new cat video on Tik Tok.
December 3, 2025 at 12:03 PM
And who controls that redistributing? State legislatures. For years the democrats begged people to vote in state elections because it matters, and young people ignored them.

Hard to feel sorry for people who didn’t care before, but now blame those who been fighting the republicans for decades.

“Broader moral slide”

Seriously? What they really mean is they are more aware.

Conservative radio and TV has been spewing hate and lies since Rush Limbaugh figured out it could make you rich back in the 1980s.

People have been manipulated for 40 yrs. And they vote.
December 3, 2025 at 11:43 AM
Disgusting. The republicans don’t even pretend anymore to serve Hoosiers. Now it’s all servitude of king Trump.
December 2, 2025 at 8:58 PM
Maybe count them as 3/5 of a person? That worked 225 years ago and the republicans love the old ways.

Tech knowledge and ability to build a work culture that attracted talent.

The one that failed turned all the decision making to IBM - brought in old mainframe technology and clunky IBM dev tools.

My team was on Unix. Our app was the only asset companies had interest in buying post bankruptcy.

As one of Kurt Vonnegut’s characters explained … because of gravity we all have to stick to the planet’s surface somewhere.
December 2, 2025 at 7:02 PM
340 million people. Anybody who thinks there is some base culture we’re all standing on is dumb as rocks.

Unity in diversity

That principle has been around for 1,000s of years.

When the government bailed out General Motors they got 61% of the stock.

I worked under CEOs that grew two companies from small startups to multi billion dollar companies in about 10 years bia a lot of smart decisions.

I’ve also worked for a startup (run by an idiot CEO) that failed in 2.5 yrs after wasting many millions of venture capital.
December 2, 2025 at 6:43 PM
Not to dive into nuance, but the government really doesn’t print money to pay bills. Not since 1913.
December 2, 2025 at 6:25 PM
So you’re entitled to be served by a political party you don’t support?

What makes you so special?

So our duty is solve all your problems while working hard while you piss around on social media?

How’s that working out? Read the news lately?
November 30, 2025 at 11:35 PM
The rich pay a much lower % of their income in taxes than do working people.

When Bezos buys a new private jet they sign the contract over international waters so no sales tax.

Social security taxes are capped at $176k. Make more thin that you get a sweet 6% tax cut
November 30, 2025 at 11:31 PM
So you’re ok with $970 billion a year going to just interest payments in the debt - much of which is held by wealthy people?
November 30, 2025 at 11:24 PM
The federal government spend $970 billion a year paying interest on the national debt.

So yes, deficit spending is a problem.
November 30, 2025 at 11:22 PM
Seems like it’s the republicans and people who find bullshit excuses for not voting who are the real problem. But no, it’s the democrats.
November 30, 2025 at 11:18 PM
Truth be told, most corporate accountants take pride in following accounting rules. It’s the rules that are totally corrupt.

As an individual you make a bad financial decision - that’s your problem. As a corporation you can take your bad decision as tax deductions for as long as 20 years.

Here’s what I learned from AI …

“The em dash is longer than an en dash and three times as long as a hyphen”

It left out that it has no curves, defies gravity, comes and goes like narrative burp, moves the story backwards when it feels like it. And easily fit in a NYC studio apartment.
