It really bums me out when people act like avoidants aren’t redeemable. We aren’t this way because we’re cold and unfeeling robots - we are TRAUMATIZED. That doesn’t mean that we’re not accountable for our behavior but it does mean you have to work harder to establish safety in the relationship.

As an avoidant: prove that you are a safe and trustworthy person. Don’t force intimacy right away. Be patient. We’re more likely to engage if our interactions are fun/light. Once we are talking regularly it becomes a lot easier to open up. Take note of what topics make us retreat and revisit later

Yeah, nothing significant. I did meet someone during an L4 loosing of the bond last year but I’m so avoidant that I accidentally ghosted him 🫣
I just realized I had another L4 LB on Thanksgiving last week and that was wholly uneventful
