I think about this in terms of "annoyance abstraction" (made that up just now) - we keep automating and computerizing "annoying" tasks, and in the age of the stupid LLM ("AI"), those tasks are writing and researching... once those are "abstracted away", what next? thinking is the latest annoyance???

yeah labs are pretty cool, I still feel sad that people just won't choose this specialization and not experience the lab 😭

that exact thing turned a lot of my fellow students off from pursuing pure electronics as a specialization for higher semesters and it's SAD
