The Orchard in Doha, Qatar’s airport. Spending a few hours here is a joy. 🌳

Witnessed the Thenga Udayal ritual (an offering to Lord Ganesha made by smashing coconuts) yesterday at Sree Poornathrayeesa Temple. So exilerating and absolutely unforgettable. I was getting splashed with coconut water, 😆🥥.

And yes, the broken coconuts were immediately gathered right after.

A great heron making use of the beautiful nuance known as water hyacinth, 😆. This heron eventually caught a fish.

A moment where I had to stop and take in where I was. As a person who prefers quiet and dislikes urban spaces, I fought this spot surprisingly charming (so much color!).

Before I flew out to Kerala, my sister jokingly told me that if I saw a wedding there, I should crash it and get in on the enjoyment. I rolled my eyes and said, “Why would I see a wedding?”

Why is there a wedding happening outside right now? 🤣

The little guy will be fine. I took it outside and let it go as everyone stared at me like I was crazy.

I just caught a tiny gecko in my hotel room and escorted outside. Heh, I usually leave them alone when they come inside because they eat bugs and spiders, but in this hotel, it was going to die. Nothing to eat.

Caught it under a glass but not before it let go of its tail to try and distract me! 😁
