The casting choice for the hedonist in ep2 is, well, a choice. Fucking hell

It's sadly all too believable! I'm encountering more history blindness in Bermuda than before. Did you catch my latest talk for the National Museum of Bermuda, on Black women marketing goods at Dockyard in early 19thC? Not on the NMB's website yet, but it is on their YT channel. Hope it's useful.

That’s not much more informative than the article, to be sure. Curious lack of transparency.

Gauthier is a major talent I think. Just astonishing work. Still young, born 1978 in Happy Valley - Goose Bay, Labrador, he’s still so young. One plaque has him born in Nunatsiavut, but not sure which is correct.

Perhaps doesn’t need saying but the skull was not harvested for this piece but had been sitting outdoors for decades. Conserved, debugged, and stabilized by the conservation lab at The Rooms for this piece.

This is the collection of essays. There is one PhD dissertation that comes to mind, by Paul Collins 2011.

You will have seen the valuable collection of essays edited by @stevenhigh.bsky.social I expect. There have been some MA/PhD theses since on our shelves on the subject too, if I recall. My office is across the hall, so likely we passed at some point!
