The ONLY thing I can think of for such an idiotic policy is that they wanted to allow more neo Nazis with problematic tattoos to be able to enlist. Keep them all out. Start with Hegseth.

And that the power to enforce the norms isn't automatic, but comes with effort from the people. It's on all of us. There are so many more of us. His power to tear down the system comes from a void of so much apathy that has allowed it.
