Little Buddy and her brother Big Buddy originally showed up as feral kittens on our porch. We started calling them Buddy and Other Buddy ("hey buddy, come get some food!") and that morphed to Big and Little. When we realized they were *our* cats, it was too late for a real name.

When Fluxx was a kitten, she liked to run around, jump around, just be a little ball of chaos. And the card game Fluxx is one of my favorites, so it seemed a good kitty name. Sometimes I wonder if she'd have been different if I named her "Serena" or something. :)

oh! finished tapestry. well, finished enough. I used it on Saturday as an example kids could touch in conjunction with my work's tapestry exhibition. And so it will remain in its nearly finished state. #weaving #tapestry #textiles

I wove this bookmark for my coworker. She's kind and an amazing problem solver, and I wanted to get her at least a token of my appreciation. My first time doing a pattern like this (Diamond Twill by Spruce & Linen). It's alright I think. Wool warp and weft. #textiles #weaving
