Do it! You know what life is like on land and can always go back. Left in 2019 and have no regrets.

Pros: experiencing life/nature in ways most people never get to! Encounters with nature, cool people.

Cons: language barriers, sourcing boat parts, lots of fixing, pet restrictions (some countries)

I have not heard of the flashes app. I’ll have to check that out. Thanks for the rec. I have joined SeaPeople. I know it’s still growing. It is quiet where I am at and seems there are lots of people in the app without boats “looking to crew”/open to dating”… I’m hopeful for its evolution 😊
