Upcoming monograph on Charles Dickens and the Classics.
There it is! Bloomsbury Studies in Classical Reception will publish my book "Charles Dickens and the Classics" next year.

Lots of it is about classics at the street level and how Dickens uses the classics to think about gender, sex, race, and class.

Germany’s Chancellor Merz presented Trump the birth certificate of his German grandfather, Friedrich Trump.

It was a clever jab to remind Trump he’s a German immigrant.

So saddened. I wrote a few reviews for #headbutler back in the day. He was funny and supportive. His memory will be a blessing.
