i believe the specific take was that white gaming youtubers who love nintendo and grew up with a 64 or gamecube severely overstate the importance and dominant relevance of mascot platformers like banjo kazooie. which is what set this guy off acting like people were racist to nintendo tubers

point being he's always seemed to have a very narrow view of things like this so I'm not surprised somehow

i remember this guy crashing out at a take with the implication that gaming youtubers might possibly be misinforming people on video game history by overstating the importance of certain titles/genres. especially wrt to like overrepresentation of middle class white americans

I like him cuz he keeps it simple. I think that in a game where there are birds with fire and lightning bolts coming out of them its a power move to just be a normal looking bird that looks like it could fuck you up. He's so cool.
