Popyrin in full flight is a sight to behold! All the tools, just needs his body to hold up.

Lost my dog of almost 17 years on Friday. Had to get away for a few days as everything in the house reminds me of her. Came home feeling much better, then saw two people on my walk back from the train and they both asked me how she was doing. Gonna be a rough few weeks and months ahead!

When this World Cup was announced eight years I couldn’t have been more excited and was sure this would be the first one I attended. Now I’m genuinely terrified of all the shit that is going to happen off the field.

Might as well pitch a tent at the cinema in the coming weeks. 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple (15/1), Hamnet (15/1), No Other Choice (15/1), Marty Supreme (22/1), Secret Agent (22/1), Blue Moon (29/1) and It Was Just An Accident (29/1) coming to Australian screens before the end of January.

Finally got around to watching Mickey 17. I’ll never put stock in the reviews of others again. It’s not Parasite, but it’s pretty bloody good!

Negative story after negative story written about the test team this week, and at the end of the test we are on the brink of a 200+ run victory. Not that every story wasn’t without merit, but I hate this state of sports media being 90-95% click bait or outrage generation.

Israel has nuclear weapons. Israel are not a party to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Genuinely feel like I’m going insane watching the news coverage at the moment.

… and this from Barney on the sinister and troubling Trump-fulled anti-immigration sentiment clouding the start of the CWC. Truly, this entire thing feels like a giant shitshow.

After buying the tickets before Christmas, I finally got to see Hadestown today. So incredibly well done. The quality of performers in Australia is ridiculous. In Melbourne for another few weeks, see it if you can.

Guys, guys… Israel didn’t attack Iran. It was a preemptive retaliation for the attack that hadn’t happened yet.

Not sure how the World Cup can still happen here a year from now. Which foreign fans are going to fly to the US with the risk of being Gitmoed once they get here??
NEW: The Trump admin has plans to send thousands of foreigners to Guantanamo beginning as early as this week, including citizens of close allies UK & France, with no intention of notifying their home governments in advance, per sources and documents

Have said it before, but it’s really hard to make a case that the injection of foreign talent into the Saudi Pro League hasn’t been a net negative for homegrown players. The standard of the national team has declined massively.
