Sceptic
Hark at that true, blue
Thatcherite voodoo
Nick is as dry as the Gobi desert.

A nonchalant flick of the ash
as he tries to
cash his BUPA plan for fires.

That's why he got a song.

When Nicholas Ridley set his bed on fire
There was quite a pyre
That man smoked in bed.

The fire brigade came but the man would not allow them
To put out the fire
'Cos they were nationalised...

Well, it's not really rock'n'roll, is it, but thought the title might amuse you.

And the intro to Nick Ridley is slightly Rockabilly!

Might mail a bit more about growth. Was great to hear Kate Raworth come up from another listener last week.

😜. I don't think I'm going to be able to match your enthusiastic promotion of your book with my own when it comes out! I am in awe!

But is it really only for data practitioners, Crystal? Surely everyone in government needs a copy, for starters!

And its occasional passive-aggressiveness and constant overconfidence. And its "forgetfulness" and carelessness and terrible, extremely WET coding instincts. And...well, it's all there in the (very long) article.

That is part of it yes. Claude is always desperate to code, and sometimes breaks out even of plan node to do it.

But it's dozens of things. The bullshitting. The insanity, The disobedience. The stupidity. Watching token use and avoiding autocompactification. It's obsequiousness.
