We went to this event last year, and it's a blast! My only critique about the article is that it didn't mention the Pumpkin Drop, when they hoist a giant gourd up several stories with a crane and drop it onto a field behind a school. (Unless it was nixed this year.) www.nytimes.com/2025/10/25/s...
