Here's a link to a writer stating a position that's one of my positions: anthonymoser.github.io/writing/ai/h... Reader, I read it.
I Am An AI Hater

I'm a boomer at the tail-end of that demographic. Yuppies I encountered were younger than me by several years and made a big deal of the age gap. They were full of readymade greed. And I refute the idea that maga voters are decayed working class boomers. Plenty have plenty money and always have had.

When you see lots of old people ("boomers") protesting the current destructive stupidness, it's because we already fought these battles and we thought we had won. Which generation let us down?

And one of the high points of my life is singing "There's a Boat that's Leavin Soon for New York" in a WisCon hallway with @andreahairston.bsky.social. She's several sorts of delightful!

I think it was written with Cab Calloway in mind, which makes that line more playful, less evil. But so glad to hear you've got an imprint too.

That eerie glissando from "My Man's Gone Now" raises the hair on the back of my neck every single fucking time. And the sweet reassurance of the streetsellers cries heals my heart every single fucking time I hear it.
