LOL! They disqualified it because "it was easier to read"! They just know that it's better if less people can read what they wrote...

She's however slyer than MTG: blaming Johnson rather than Trump is a cunning move. She knows that Johnson has no spine to retaliate.

The only way to go is to not forget. Heal, but do not forget! Those scars called History are what remind us of our values.

I think someone has started using OpenAI Erotica late that night...

There is some truth there, but only if you take the whole thing. Many democracies have this built-in too, in one form or the other. What puts US democracy apart is how much money is in it. Put a cap on it (both in contribution and direct conflict of interest) and see how things will change suddenly.

There is something painfully true in stupidity being a sign of intelligence.

Yet, for some reason, some Americans thought it doesn't matter, or that the title alone will change the man. The presidency doesn't make the man, the man is the President. Americans need to stop glorifying titles, even of the highest position in the country. The same for the Founding Fathers.

Don't look at who would do it first, but who allows it first. It always started in private settings before going to private meetings, but for Trump, it was public way before he won his primary.

It's Pareto all the way up: Now that the 90% bottom is irrelevant economically, the bottom of the top 10% started to feel they are being left too, to keep the top 1% happy.
The French revolution has happened for way less.

Not the same: the ones he wears look like knockoffs. Look at the stitches and how they are misaligned.

And just to be clear: that shows how text is extraordinary, not LLM. Even if they were trained ethically (they don't), LLM are still destructive since they lost access to their sources. The treasure is in the training data.

And most of it from a purely serial interface. I find it incredible how much intelligence can be encoded in such unidimensional protocol. I'm not a fan of LLM, but the fact it can produce statistically a stream that extracts so much of the human intelligence just through text is extraordinary.

Let's be fair: he's doing everything to go back where he came from: Mars.
He's just not very talented doing so.

One shouldn't reduce modesty to what one wears. Modesty is about avoiding making people around you envious. So, it can also be employed for jewelry, cars, etc. But yes, it's very bad. As one replies in the thread, modesty is the shield against the eye of the unclean [Kahlil Gibran].
