Its the old stuff tjay has become abandonware that is a problem. Be interesting to see how they handle games that are played predominantly with a mouse and keyboard - ie C&C

Agree to an extent. There goal has been clear for a while - accessible cloud bassed subscription gaming.l and a pivot to a "console" that is essentially a Windows PC that can run Steam, Origin, Gog Galaxy, etc. I still believe that is a game changer.

To an extent, yes, but remember this is Steam and not a console so some games will require technical tweaks to run, some won't run at all as with all PCs. Ironically, the older games are the ones that tend to be harder to run at times.

Actually think the performance of this will dictate XBox's fate. If it flies, will be a lifeline for them since they are heading toward this very idea of gaming PC as console. If it fails, XBox have nowhere to go.

The one thing it is going to do is absolutely rattle the console market and that is long, long, long overdue in my mind.

The specs are very meh from a PC perspective. Comparable with consoles is a low bar.

If this was around £400, would be tempted for convenience/curiosity factor... but with custom GPU, suspect this is gonna be £600/700
