Is that like the puzzle involving wolves and boats?
November 26, 2025 at 11:26 AM
Absolutely. It makes me SO mad that the media find more or less any excuse to give him coverage.

I agree totally. I went to a school that was about a third jewish anyway.

He is a lying liar who knows nothing else, like Boris of course. To expect anything else is hopeless with these types.

Should've said that the school in question was Strathclyde School of Architecture. Most architectural schools are either in arts faculties or freestanding so we really struggled at each RAE/REF to show that what funding etc was possible for engineering was impossible for us.

I did something a bit like this when I was assisting with assembling data for the REF c2014. The school is in faculty of engineering who could NOT get their heads around the fact that much architectural research is drawing. I wrote a paper: www.researchgate.net/publication/...
(PDF) Drawing as a research process and drawings as research outputs – how acceptable are they in various disciplines?
PDF | In Tracey Journal of Drawing and Visualisation Research This paper considers the use of drawing as a research tool and as evidence of research... | Find, read and cite all the research you need ...

I think this is all pointless. Probably a lot of perfectly nice non-racist people today were horrible wee shites at school when they were trying to fit into the prevailing nastiness in the playground.
I actually dont care what he was like then, it is what he does now that matters more.

Nah, it's built from green bricks.

'French' drain seems to be very similar to a field drain from the discussion in the OP.

This might actually be a rare occurrence where brown envelopes have changed hands. People who know nothing about local councils say that such behaviour is ubiquitous but I dont think most counciilors and officials are so venal.
But waste management is an arena full of spivs.

Domestic waste suggests that somewhere along the line a local authority is at fault.

If, like me, you knit in the UK way then this method does seem a little odd.

Does that still work to any extent with the infamous lithium batteries?

'Surround and drown' was new to me, but I guess it is what happens to a lot of vessels in your better posts.

At least you have your Activist Duck to help.
