I’ve read in various articles that some of the Silicon Valley execs responsible for all this tech are the very first ones to disallow phones for their children and send their kids to Waldorf school or school where there’s absolutely limited access to in your pocket technology. Gee, I wonder why?

My son was having some mental health problems and things got into crisis mode. I really felt in my gut the phone was crushing his spirit. I took it away, cold turkey, signed him up to volunteer as a counselor at a day camp. Two weeks without his phone AT ALL. He said it made a difference.
