I have this best fleshed out for Rota and her two potential love interests (since that part's written), sooo... here you go--the difference between her meeting with Farish and with Victor~
Rota's meeting with Farish: “I-it’ll be fine,” she told herself, even as her teeth clattered from the cold. “I just need one monster, and then I can go back to the ship, right?” She tapped her moon pocket, and a boomerang appeared in her hand. “I’ve trained for this, s-so…” “You know, most people don’t hunt in a skirt.” Rota practically leapt out of her skin when she heard the strange male voice. On impulse, she spun around, tossing her boomerang towards the sound. As it flew through the air, her eyes landed on a figure sitting on the ledge above her. The person raised a hand up, and the boomerang slowed down as it approached him. He caught the weapon with little effort, then held it up to study it. “You have good aim.” Rota froze. A demon sat above her. Not only that, he was a dracones. A winged dracones. The indigo mana flowed from his wings as he turned his gaze down to her. This is bad, Rota thought. The demon lord—he’s here! Rota's meeting with Victor: Rota caught her weapon. The nemleo pounced at her, and it was all she could do to hold her arms up in a vain attempt to protect herself. A hand grabbed her shoulder, pulling her back into a warm body. She watched as her savior held out a hand, summoning a dark ball of energy. The nemleo landed in the bubble, and shadows rushed into its fur. It howled as the spell faded, dropping it on the gravel. Rota peeked up at the man holding her. The scales on his face revealed him to be a demon, and he smiled down at her as he said, “My, I didn’t expect all that commotion to be valkyries infighting like this! Are you okay, Miss?” “Y-yes,” Rota mumbled, still in too much shock to say more. From his voice, Rota could tell he was one of the people Farish had been talking to. He didn’t seem to mind the rain—rather, to Rota, he seemed almost like a saint with the way it illuminated his skin.

It'd help if I read the full sentence, but to be fair, this sentence is just no. It's like saying in Wonderland terms, "the raven, with its color similar to a WD, is an abnormality of the writing desk."

That’s when she saw it—the tapestry. She could barely comprehend the details, but she knew one of the faces weaved upon its surface. It was Cormac, smiling so innocently, still every bit the picture perfect boy she thought she knew. But it was a lie. This whole painting was a lie, and those eyes, deep as an ocean, only mocked Emily as they swallowed her up, just like before.
