In a world full of distrust , misinformation, division, we are losing an existential war due to massive media under reporting , the echo chamber effect in social media as well as all the virtue signaling back and forth between groups too blind to see the destruction of their kids' future.

9 years ago, the Paris agreement came into force with a goal to limit the median global temperature rise to below 2 degrees C, preferably to 1.5C It has been a total failure of political initiative, as not even 10 years later, it's obvious that we have (unofficially) crossed the 1.5C limit.

Europe is decarbonizing and heavily investing in renewable energy , while USA is actively backpedaling. Europe has stricter emissions regulations , you actually breathe cleaner air . Same goes with food additives etc .

I respectfully disagree. Both the health and educational systems of most EU Members are untouchable by the predominantly for profit American systems . Europe offers way tighter regulation on how personal data are used by data brokers. Europe has way stricter consumer protections

I will not attempt to hypothesize or draw any conclusions of the intentions of who shot him . But this guy didn't just have opinions. He was a talented speaker and used his smarts ,as well as every logical trick and fallacy in the book, to promote division. His playbook is very common.
