Personal little show off : The vents have stickers to get the metallic and black look, but I had an idea; I panel lined the textured part that the stickers would go on, let the liner dry, then very lightly went over it with a chrome paint marker. It got exactly the look and effect I was hoping for.

The fandom ugly sweater theme is another one of those things that’s been sort of beaten into the ground at this point, but it was fun when real artists made clever designs, before it became flooded with junk that barely has any thought behind it.

It’s kinda wild how little 0080 or Endless Waltz Christmas themed merch there is, even unofficial stuff made by artists for print on demand. Most of the stuff is sweater designs that look pretty terrible and don’t use things from the actual series that have Christmas as part of the setting.

What always stands out to me is that is was a different type of music from what you expect for a concert at an anime con and it wasn’t an overly complex presentation. Just enough projected imagery and lighting. It really helped the focus stay on the music.
