NEW FRIENDS ACQUIRED. They're a breeding pair of giant American millipedes. Haven't decided what to name them yet but the larger one is quite chill about being grabbed while the little one is like "pls do not". Glad they survived the mail okay.

When you're on pain medication 5x more powerful than morphine but still too restless to sleep so you work on an embroidery stitching kit instead. I'm stiff as hell but seem to be bouncing back way faster than I could have predicted, lol.

Taking a break from Silksong to draw Peal in a Hollow Knight -ish style. Kind of funny because Peal started out as just the name I gave the pre-infection Traitor Lord. I turned him into an OC because I didn't want to lose that part of Nugget's backstory, and now he's my main boy oops.

I've let her loose now because she was starting to roam, but she is indeed a female cicada. Quite a rare find because they don't "sing" and only make occasional little clicks. So they're much harder to track down than their very loud male counterparts.

I have been blessed by the bug gods! Found this screaming potato nymph on my evening walk and by the time I brought it inside it saw fit to start emerging. It's an annual cicada, common here but rarely seen. I'll be letting it loose when it's ready to fly.

This is the last video I got to take of Ishna. She liked to sit directly on my chest in the morning to say hi. She was deaf so nothing ever really bothered her and she made the most dramatic noises possible any time you picked her up. I'll miss the little lady.

Don't think I posted this sketch here yet. I drew this as a baseline average for the differences between male and female mantises in my comic. Maybe someday I will make a full on guide about how their culture works.

Kittens are at the stage where they're starting to become active and play. I've got Merlin and Dracula wrestling in my lap right now and they're just so cute.

Still sad that I ended up losing this comic. These were the only sketches I could even find from it after the accidental file purge. Basic idea though was for a mantis lord to "awaken" in Nightmare King Grimm's realm and get her ass handed to her by him, with some mindfuckery involved.
