(Also, you folks pinning down the Clownfish ship from last time got me on a track, and you may all regret it!)

BOUNDLESS SPACE: After feedback from players and more solo playtesting, the spaceship sheet is about ready to go!

In game, you'll be filling in those empty space on the Components with new abilities, placing playing cards on the bottom for cargo, and running silent past enemies, Human and Machine.

Making a cheese dip with chipotle glaze for Thanksgiving, and watching A Knight's Tale in the kitchen.

-and damn, thinking about Them. Someday, you'll get your game, guys.

BOUNDLESS SPACE: Finished up the example character sheet (and almost all of 30 starting abilities). This weekend will be for A.) Family, B.) Food & wine, C.) Revisiting the space travel and brain-hacking rules, to make sure they're not ridiculously game-breaking.

SOLARCRAWL: With the planet arts mostly painted, now it's on to a variety of internal color splashes. This will be the header image for the system-neutral rules and how to do planetary exploration.

I've been working on this game for years now, and it's a relief to see the finish line within sight.

While I'm thinking about Spencer's stuff. The latest edition of the RAID playtest has got my wheels turning. You can enjoy some excellent Gila design, but for me it conjurs Muspel as a vast riveted iron & steaming grates under an Yggdrasil-shaped arcology.

More of a grungy, euro take on the genre.

BOUNDLESS SPACE: Not too exciting today, but you've got to put the character sheet together at some point.

Since this is a very cyberpunk/Ghost in the Shell future setting, we're linking the last few hit points to your character's talents and abilities--they can be hacked!

And the blue lights shining with a heavenly grace help you right on by
And there ain't no road just like it anywhere I found
Running south on Lake Shore Drive heading into town
Just slippin' on by on LSD, Friday night trouble bound

On the one hand, this is the kind of sensible, science-driven policy that I'd like to see return to Washington.

On the other hand, my way is safer. Shooting things into the deep is how you get V'gers.

I'll post this one, too, since it's out of my normal wheelhouse.

Here's a character of demonic heritage getting a dose of "Martyr's Blood" for Eric Lazure's upcoming expansion for Daggerheart!

My original sketch had much more junk in the trunk, but this site has taught me that's a Goblin thing.

Scanning physical watercolors for backgrounds, and then adding digital colors for foreground figures is really starting to work. At least for this project!

Here's a WIP of astronauts walking around a desert world.

It's just so much faster and more pleasant to use paper and paints for that.

SOLARCRAWL: Continuing the work of the nine base planets. Today we get to the gas giant Vent, and the shattered alien artifact orbiting in its rings.

A fairly empty composition, since I'll have to put a ton of word boxes and locations to explore in and over this piece.

Ruh Roh!

I'm drawing a lot of backstory for this one from design conversations that RP and I had back in September of last year. Yet another game that sprang from staring at this map. Is your wheeled vehicle game on EE as well?

Boundless Space: Making the scary monsters of the Eridani Belt today. I'm thinking that space combat will be much like normal conflict in Boundless, but with the addition of vast space ranges, multiple actions for a crewed ship, and of course, torpedoes and boarding!

My table mucked about a bit with the earlier draft of this one, and had a ride as dream smugglers on the run from an insect empire.

Attached is our take on the Orphan Vessel from that setting.

Hot damn, I've always wanted to run an Incal/Arzach, and it looks like it will finally happen! This piece by Linnea Sterte is incredible.

Laying out some NPCs for that Boundless Space game today. I can draw little space guys all day long, but really wish I could outsource the writing. The pain of staring at the names I come up with, willing something better to emerge.

Running up some NPCs for Boundless Space today.
November 17, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Not today! I'll be posting some Solarcrawl art soon, though.

This one is a small game about asteroid belt traders, using @rpdeshaies.farirpgs.com's "Boundless" engine, about rebuilding in the wake of a war.
November 15, 2025 at 12:37 PM
I'm thinking of a bar for the mech members of the Human Spectrum called "Mechanical Turk's".
November 14, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Boundless Space art for you all today, as I can't share commission work, just yet.

I'm thinking about putting some bright holographic billboards around the asteroid belt's little boomtown station. What kind of far future amenities do you all think that Railhead should have on offer?
November 14, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Everytime I go to make a small game, I feel like I've got to give you all some really decent art to look at.

-and then I end up drawing the individual windows on a space city. This is going to take a minute.
November 13, 2025 at 7:57 PM
That's right! Working on a port today, when I'm not doing colors for commission work!
November 12, 2025 at 7:23 PM
Such a good take on the Knight of Echoes! (Original art below for reference)

For those of you wondering what I'm on about *this time*.
