Agreed on Gasper, but that’s why he was up.
And we’ll see. They’ve called up their top prospects quickly in the past few years, so I don’t think that will change.

They called up Keaschall and Brooks Lee as fast as they could in the last two years. Jenkins is on the fast track too.
McCusker didn’t really play (29 at-bats) and Bride was around when they had a wave of injuries (72 ABs). I don’t think they took away from anyone. Gasper had a .915 OPS in AAA.

Who didn’t they play in the past? And they have different priorities now. They were in win-now mode for the last three years, even if they didn’t win enough the last two years. Now it’s a rebuild.

Buyout decisions are due five days after the World Series. The date to watch for an owner’s lockout is Dec. 1, so all that would be settled beforehand.
