Sorry I meant the whole asylum seeker non issue, Reform/Farage have lead Labour down a no win path on this. Labour need to remember why people voted them in over the Cons, for positive change, to not have sections of society punched down on, uplift people and communities. The opposite is happening

It’s sad and disheartening to see. Reform voters probably won’t budge (only possibly to Tenconi or Lowe?) but maybe not many if they did. It’s been said since they got elected that Labour needed a way stronger and savvy media team as well. Teflon Farage has lead them into a no win dead end

Labour chasing Reform is appalling to see play out in real time. Reform supporters aren’t going to suddenly vote for Labour anyway. Such a pity as I expect many voted them in for change, for hope, for better politics. Labour haven’t controlled their media image either, Farage has outplayed them.

Whenever this brought up now on social media, the number of people posting ‘it’s what we’re all thinking’ is shameful really, a so worrying that this is now accepted rhetoric, a few years of Braverman et al referring to ‘invasions’ has made this commonplace.
