Grumpy old man here.
Trump's conviction in Colorado made campaign financing wire fraud.
..
At the point he took the oath to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution" without previously having brought his disability to Congress for relief, INSTANTLY violated his oath because his disability.
Trump has immunity but is still guilty of insurrection from Jan 6.

When democrats reminded troops not to follow illegal orders that violate the Constitution, as per their oaths, Trump calls it seditious behavior and calls for death sentences, as would be expected of a fascist.

Alright, alright. I did not expect this at all. Happy to have been wrong about this not passing the House.
Breaking: The House voted unanimously, 426-0, to strip a provision in the funding bill that allowed senators to sue the government for $500K if their phone data was searched without their knowledge.

The provision was designed for GOP senators to sue over the Jack Smith investigation.

Current American military are mostly bureaucratic men, not the heroic type of Hugh C. Thompson Jr., a warrant officer who intervened during the My Lai Massacre. He landed his helicopter between U.S. ground troops and fleeing Vietnamese civilians, risking his life to protect them.

My legal team will be in federal court in North Carolina today fighting against the state's unconstitutional redrawn congressional map. Before you listen to those in the GOP who say we can't win, ask Texas how that worked out for them.

Speaking truth can be liberating, and it’s clear Massie is enjoying his freedom.
Massie: “[Speaker Johnson is] trying to say the rich, powerful men who flew to Epstein Island are the victims now. The only way a ‘Christian man’ can stand up there and sell a lie like that is if he’s already decided in his head that protecting them is somehow okay.”

Why the Time Has Finally Come for Geothermal Energy
It used to be that drawing heat from deep in the Earth was practical only in geyser-filled places such as Iceland. But new approaches may have us on the cusp of an energy revolution.

Opinion | Jamal Khashoggi: What the Arab world needs most is free expression
The Arab world needs a modern version of the old transnational media so citizens can be informed about global events.
