When I bought the #diecomic RPG Quickstart Edition this weekend, I got a set of dice with it. Which was, let’s be real, a crazy bargain. But what’s more important is that I did a test role to check this set’s karma, as you do, and I used the percentile dice and got 69. Dangerous dice to RP with?

Is Sweet Shop the digital platform I've been waiting for since ComiXology imploded into the Amazon abyss? I do believe "download DRM-free" are the magic words. What a concept, to get to own what you buy.

I did it! To the best of my knowledge, I've now read every last Krakoan X-Men comic published, including digital and shorts in Marvel Voices specials and the like. Took me a bit to work up to reading the Fall, but it was as I expected--I didn't like it ending, but it was told in very good comics.

Can someone help me with #comics math, please? Surely this can’t be right. Issues of Absolute Wonder Woman are $5(!) each. This collection of #1-7 is $18. That means if you follow it monthly, you pay almost DOUBLE!? Why? How?

It’s wild that not only did my Marvel fave and my DC fave get their own book at the same time, they both got a writer who actually wants to delve into them as characters, and an artist perfect for the tone. (Interior artist, not these cover artists, one of which I also like.) #magik #batgirl #comis

What an interesting dilemma in the making of #comics collections. Because this #SuicideSquad book starts with the complete Legends event book—as it should, that’s where the team’s introduced and these collections are supposed to be complete. But it’s also dull as dishwater(despite staying relevant).

Dat is nog eens een leuk begin van de week (en een nieuwe vertaalklus): ik ben samen met Alice Oseman genomineerd voor het Beste Boek voor Jongeren 2025 (Vertaald)! Dit was ook weer een erg sterk boek, even meeslepend als je niet echt een jongere meer bent. #amtranslating
